Although art and storytelling have been key nodes in my life since I could speak, my world changed when I picked up a camera at 15. Since then, I’ve used it as a tool to tell stories of community empowerment and social justice movements, the African diaspora, art and culture, and movement of the natural world.
My filmmaking is an artistic translation of my first love -poetry and the written word. This has manifested into a 7 year career of creating video art from music videos to documentaries about stories of healing, of transformation, of experimentation, and of triumph.
